We were curious to understand what kind of simple game could be quickly created with ChatGPT o1, so we created a simple WebGL shooting game by adding to it until ChatGPT ran out of tokens (started with errors, then omissions: the limit). All content is embedded or generated, including retro sounds and music. With hardware acceleration it’s fast and smooth, even with thousands of objects and particles! To quickly clear a level, hold down the left or right arrow key to spin, then press and hold the spacebar for a cool bullet spiral. Once loaded up with missiles, launching many at a UFO from different directions is also fun.
